Align specification definitions
Distinguish nominal, usable and load-delivered energy. Compare continuous power, temperature derating, cycle conditions and end-of-life capacity under stated measurement conditions.
Check system compatibility and evidence
Request model-specific compatibility lists, communication and firmware requirements, warranties and applicable market documentation. A supplier certificate or test report is not a NexStor certification and does not automatically validate an entire installation.
Define delivery and aftercare
Identify whether equipment, freight, civil works, distribution upgrades, permits, installation, testing, training and service are included. Separate equipment warranties from workmanship and define response, spares, remote and on-site coverage.
Read the economic assumptions
Models should state tariffs, load, PV yield, losses, degradation, service and replacement costs. Test changes in tariffs or production. Backup reserves constrain savings capacity, and value streams must not double-count the same energy.
